Triumph Of The Will - Internet Movie Downloads
Triumph of the Will is one of the most important films ever made. Not because it documents evil–more watchable examples are being made today. And not as a historical example of blind propaganda–those (much shorter) movies are merely laughable now. No, Riefenstahl’s masterpiece–and it is a masterpiece, politics aside–combines the strengths of documentary and propaganda into a single, overwhelmingly powerful visual force.
Riefenstahl was hired by the Reich to create an eternal record of the 1934 rally at Nuremberg, and that’s exactly what she does. You might not become a Nazi after watching her film, but you will understand too clearly how Germany fell under Hitler’s spell. The early crowd scenes remind one of nothing so much as Beatles concert footage (if only their fans were so well behaved!).
Like the fascists it monumentalizes, Triumph of the Will overlooks its own weaknesses–at nearly two hours, the speeches tend to drone on, and the repeated visual motifs are a little over-hypnotic, especially for modern viewers. But the occasional iconic vista (banners lining the streets of Nuremberg, Hitler parting a sea of 200,000 party members standing at attention) will electrify anyone into wakefulness. –Grant Balfour

Earthly Possessions - How to Safely Choose a Movie Download Service
Susan Sarandon is Charlotte Emory, a sexually frustrated unhappy homemaker who longs for her husband to stop taking her for granted. Stephen Dorff is Jake Simms, a bank robber with a vicious temper and the obligatory heart of gold. When Jake attempts a bank robbery, Charlotte becomes his hostage. Together, they go on the lam.
Thelma and Louise this isn’t. This original HBO film, Earthly Possessions, based on the Anne Tyler novel, is a sentimental road movie that requires more than a little suspension of disbelief (that they’re able to escape in the first place is a miracle). Yet Sarandon, even in the most disappointing of roles, is a phenomenal actress who will make us believe just about anything. And so she does here; even with the trademark two-dimensionality of Tyler’s characters, Charlotte Emory is a woman you can’t help but care about. Dorff, with his rough-and-tumble good looks, is fairly believable as the irresponsible hooligan, and despite the unlikelihood of a relationship developing between these two, you are sucked into the romance right with them. Throw in a couple of car chases and a pregnant girlfriend, and you’ve got an entertaining, lighthearted film. While the ending is a little disappointing, fans of Tyler’s novels and her other books on film (Saint Maybe and Breathing Lessons) will surely be swept away. –Jenny Brown

Wow! I really loved the movie Earthly Possessions. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Susan Sarandon deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.
I also think Stephen Dorff was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.
I think Susan Sarandon and Stephen Dorff worked wonderful in Earthly Possessions. The great supporting cast includes Susan Sarandon, Stephen Dorff, Elisabeth Moss, Jay O. Sanders, Alan Pottinger.

Get out your handkerchiefs. Though An Early Frost was made for television in 1985–in the first few years of AIDS awareness and research–it’s still as potent and wrenching as more sophisticated efforts that came along a short while later (Philadelphia, And the Band Played On, Longtime Companion). Much of the thanks goes to a stellar cast–Aidan Quinn, Gena Rowlands, and Ben Gazzara–who elevate a familiar, familial tale of conflict that begins when a successful lawyer son (Quinn) comes home to make peace with his enabling, compassionate mother (Rowlands) and disgusted, confused father (Gazzara) who cannot reconcile himself to his son’s gay lifestyle.
Director John Erman crafts a stark, wintry movie, its title a metaphor for a life cut short. An Early Frost was lauded for its compassion, and though it seems a little patronizing now after the many films with similar themes and variations, this was the first to bring gay life as something normal into the average living room, and it holds up pretty well. After all, the humanistic, family element is what the film strives to convey, and that theme is always universal. –Paula Nechak
